Is it possible to shrink the size of image to fit the message window, to avoid horizontal scroll (while reading emails).

Hi All,

Evolution Version: 3.22.6

Is it possible to auto-shrink the size/width of image to fit the message window, to avoid horizontal scroll (while reading emails).

Thanks.

        Hi,
it depends. Being it an image attachment, then yes, even in your
version and it's the default (to fit the image into the window). Being
it an inline image in an HTML formatted mail, then it's up to the
sender what he/she wants to show the image like.
        Bye,
        Milan

Hi Milan,

It will be great if there can be an enhancement where inline images in the email message being received can be automatically reduced in size to fit the window and avoid horizontal scroll.

This (default) feature works in Thunderbird.

Thanks.

[Please don't top-post on the list]

The way to ask for improvements is to file a Request For Enhancement
(RFE) on the Bugzilla page. That way your request will not be lost.
