what happened to the "[Evolution]" text in the subject?

Phil Groschwitz
Why are do some e-mails not have "[Evolution]" in the subject?  It's
playing havoc on my filters.

you shouldn't depend on that.  instead, use:

  X-BeenThere: [hidden email]

I don't know where I can select headers other than what's predefined. I
found "Mailing list" as an option when creating a rule and that's
working.  Is that what you meant, or is there another way of doing this
that I'm not aware of?  The version I have is 2.0.4.

Thanks,
Phil

Ah - found it under Tools | Filters.  I've been creating rules by
right-clicking the folder and selecting Properties.  Didn't realize the
choices would differ.

Thanks!

Oh, I'm using virtual folders.  That's probably why I forgot about
Tools|Filters.

There are slightly different rule-set lists between "Filters" and
"vFolders".

I assume that when you say "right-clicking the folder and selecting
Properties" you mean that you're editing a vFolder?  Is so, then you
realize that this performs an entirely different function than the
"Filters" functionality, yes?

I had forgotten but trying to select a vFolder reminded me :)  I'll
stick with "Mailing list".  Works (at least for this list.)

No, but it should still work.

The list headers only work for messages which go through the lists -
which isn't everything because often people reply off list.
